Description

Do you love sharing your passion for the environment with children? Join our School Programs Team as a volunteer educators! Volunteer educators learn how to guide children to build terrariums, and how to use terrariums as a tool to teach children about ecosystems, plant adaptations, the water cycle, and the importance of environmental stewardship. Our program uses experiential learning and inquiry-based design principles, outdoor learning experiences and real-world applications to teach the importance of plants.

Shifts for the Terrarium Ecosystem Program Guides vary, and can occur Monday through Friday from 9 am to noon during school field trip season (March-May and October-November)
